Summer Camp begins on June 21st. There will be 5 weeks throughout the summer. Check on the events page to get all the info.

We will attend the horse show at Obsession Farm on Saturday June 26th. McKenzie and P.J., Heather and Emma on Stormy, Stephanie on Cutty, and Katie on Gidgette. Hunter and Jumper classes will be offered. Good luck to all.

June 28th will begin our 2nd week of camp. We will be closed July 3 and 4th, and will reopen July 5th with regular lesson schedule

We’re planning a late Summer School Show – Once we know the baseball All-star schedule, we’ll make our plans…….

We had a group of riders participate in the Worlds Largest trail ride on June 12 – 13 with the ACTHA. Jack and Sarah Whipkey, David and Diane Holdsford and Gerry and K Alferio. Fun was had by all, and Jack, Diane and David Came home with Ribbons!

On June 26th many of Huntseat – Jumper riders attended a jumper show at Oakland Heights Farm in Gordonsville, VA. McKenzie and PJ won 5 ribbons of various colors, Emma and Heather and Stormy each won their share, Stephanie took Cutty to his FIRST show and he was Awesome – he jumped everything, never refused! and won 2 6th place ribbons, Katie and Gidgette were fast as usual, and Rachel and Honor won a championship. We had alot of fun and will go again to another jumper show on July 24th.

Summer camp Week #1 starts Monday – We’re looking forward to a fun Summer!

Riding lessons will continue during the Summer at the same schedule as during the School year.  We hold summer camp mornings from 8:30 – 12:30.  We take the middle of the day off – it’s too hot for horses and riders alike.  We begin again at 3 and hold lessons into the evening hours with hopes of it cooling off.  Please bring water with you and dress with light colored clothing.  Boots and helmets are manditory.  With Riders off school, we can be flexable with morning hours on the weeks that there is no camp.  So come ride and have fun.  See you at the stable……..

We’re about a month out from the start of Camp and we are ready for a great time!!  If you’ve returned your camp sign up – GREAT.  If not we still have room in Camp 1 – 3 -4 and 5.  So grab a friend and sign up for alot of summer horse fun.

Camp is about to begin, remember to wear light colored clothing, bring a bottle of water or gatoraid, and your helmet.  We’re looking forward to a great time.  See you monday.

English and Western Classes for all ages on Mothers day weekend – Saturday.  We’ll have Childrens classes in the morning, then teens and Adults after 12:00.  Check out the events page for classes and copies of the show program will be on the office desk.
